Mason is a graphic designer who has long had a passion for the artistry of advertising. He started designing professionally for magazines, newspapers, and ad agencies while still in college, and has been working since 1998 as a full-time agency designer. He served as Creative Director at two firms in the Southeast, and as an Art Director at J. Walter Thompson. In 2014 Mason graduated with a Master of Arts degree in Graphic Design from the Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD), an experience which re-energized his creativity and opened up new doors in the realms of web design, UX/UI, and augmented reality. Most importantly, his chosen curriculum emphasized the value of high-level design thinking, which has turned him into a more effective problem-solver than ever before. He has worked on commercial treatments for RSA and ContagiousLA, and on other presentations for clients who range from global powerhouses like Ford Motor Co. and Kohler, to prolific manufacturing companies such as Thomas and Betts, and HH Technologies.
